Adult Intensive Supervision Probation

The 14th Judicial District Adult Intensive Supervision Program provides community-based supervision of adult felony probationers in Montgomery and Chautauqua Counties of Kansas as ordered by the Court for an alternative to state incarceration. Funding for this program is provided by the Kansas Department of Corrections and provides a cost effective means of promoting public safety by providing supervision, accountability, and improving the probationer’s ability to live productively and lawfully in their community.

Intensive Supervision is based on Evidence-Based Practices focusing on specific probationer need factors and can include but is not limited to:

  •             Frequent face-to-face contacts with the Intensive Supervision Officer
  •             Random Drug Testing
  •             Community Service
  •             Drug Treatment Referrals
  •             Mental Health Treatment Referrals
  •             Cognitive Groups
  •             Employment Assistance Referrals
