The Montgomery County Health Department has two locations to serve the community.
The Independence County Health Department office is located in the Courthouse at 217 E Myrtle and their number is 620-331-4300.
The Coffeyville County Health Department office is located at 604 S Union and their number is 620-251-4210.
The Health Department offers a variety of services to prevent disease, promote healthy lifestyle behaviors, and protect the community at large from communicable diseases. Our services include WIC – Women, Infant, & Children, Car Seat Checks, Child Health, Chronic Disease Risk Reduction, Community Health Screenings & Education, Disease Investigation, Emergency Preparedness, Healthy Start Home Visits, Immunizations, Allergy or Hormone Injections with doctor’s orders, Maternal & Infant program, Teen Pregnancy program, and Women’s Health.
