Montgomery County Public Works is seeking applicants to fill an Equipment Operator position in our Road and Bridge Department.
Primary duties include the operation of all types of light equipment used in the placement of rock, asphalt and dirt in the construction and maintenance of roads and bridges. The applicant must have a current driver’s license and be able to obtain a CDL within 6 months of employment. Training will be provided. Current CDL is preferred.
Benefits include paid holidays, accumulated 8 hours vacation and 8 hours sick leave per month after probationary period, health insurance, KPERS retirement and uniforms. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Applications will be accepted until filled.
