The Montgomery County Clerk’s Office has an immediate opening for a full time Clerk I.
The basic function of a Clerk I is to help customers who come into the office and all basic office needs wherever needed. Some examples would be answering the phones, filing, voter registration, birth and death record requests, inventory, cross training, and general office needs.
Skills and abilities required: computer skills, typing, 10-key adding machine, and all other general office machines.
Working conditions: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature changes and the like. Some lifting is required at times.
