Montgomery County Sales Tax Question

Shall the following be adopted?

Shall Montgomery County, Kansas, be authorized to: (a) impose a special one-fourth percent (0.25%) retailers' sales tax (the "Sales Tax") for the purpose of financing the cost of constructing, furnishing and equipping  an addition to the existing Montgomery County detention facility; and costs appurtenant thereto (the "Project"), collection of such Sales Tax to commence on January 1, 2009, or as soon thereafter as permitted by law, and to terminate upon the payment of all costs incurred in the financing of the Project (including the retirement of any revenue bonds issued and payable from such Sales Tax); and (b) issue sales tax revenue bonds to pay the costs of the Project and associated reserves and financing costs; all pursuant to the authority of K.S.A. 12-187 et seq., as amended?
