County Attorney

Larry Markle is the Montgomery County Attorney. He was elected as County Attorney in the November General Election to serve a four year term.

The County Attorney is primarily responsible for prosecution of criminal violations, both adult and juvenile. Other duties include the prosecution of traffic offenses, child in need of care cases, mental illness and alcohol commitments. We research and write appellate briefs and monitor diversion cases. We assist victims of crime.

We support various crime prevention programs in our communities and work hard to make sure our county is a great place to raise a family.
