BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MONTGOMERY COUNTY, KANSAS OFFICIAL MINUTES August 6, 2004 The Board of County Commissioners, three members the County Clerk, Deputy County Clerk and Election Clerk present, met in special session at 7:30 AM for the Primary Election Canvass of Vote. ******** CALL TO ORDER: Commissioner Hey. ******** The Board of County Commissioners serving and the Montgomery County Board of Canvassers for the August 3, 2004 Primary Election proceeded with the canvass of votes at 7:30 AM. All provisional ballots were examined and declare valid or invalid by the Board. All valid votes were counted by the electronic ballot machine. A total of 174 of 224 provisional ballots were valid. No results of the election were affected by the total provisional ballots counted. State Representative Frank Miller and Mrs. Miller were present for the canvass and no other candidates or representatives of candidates were present. ******** ADJOURNMENT: 10:45 AM ACTION: Motion by Commissioner Taylor, seconded by Commissioner Mattix. ROLL CALL VOTE – Commissioner Hey - Yes Commissioner Mattix - Yes Commissioner Taylor - Yes
